A one way road to salvation, joy and peace through Jesus Christ our LORD.

Who we are...
January 23, 2021

Heaven's Road is a group dedicated to sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ with others that do not know Him. We want to pray and help those in need within our community and around the world for God's glory and not of our own. We are simply servants of almighty God, our heavenly Father who loves us so much that He sent His own Son to die on the cross for our sins. This is a new group that I felt led by God to create and looking for some brothers or sisters in Christ to help manage or coordinate this group as a way in fellowship with each other. May God receive all glory, honor and praise for this work.

Brother: Kirk Gray
Brothers and sisters, I will be offline Sunday. I will be at my parents and then Monday I go in for a MRI on my back. I will also be scheduled to see my elbow doctor. I may have a torn ligament in my right elbow like I had on my left elbow. Praying I will not need surgery in either area.

Your brother,

Brother: Kirk Gray
Brothers and sisters, I have an unspoken prayer request. With everything going on, I haven't been online much. I feel like I'm a million miles away from you. We're going through some difficult situations right now and praying that God will give us His peace and comprehension of why these trials are happening. I have not asked why, but looking for a calm and still heart and a peace that God can only give. I do have the messages that I worked on earlier this week and will be getting those out tomorrow. I'm looking for things to calm down some and get back to my enjoyable routine.

Thank you for your love and understanding. May God bless you!

Your loving brother,

Brother: Jim Gray
This is from my friend Diana. Her daughter is in the Air Force. Please Pray for her daughter, Grandson and Diana during this time of separation as she serves our Country in a far away place.

As my daughter's (even has her name one it) Montana Yellowstone plane sets ready to fly her and crew off to serve in someone else's war.. my heart breaks for both Easton and her. She is a strong woman with a lot of responsibility. But her heart also breaks. I love her and I am so very proud of what she is doing to try to better life for her and Easton! I can't post anything about where she is going.

Brother: Jim Gray
Kirk and I have a sweet friend that is having a "C-Section" on Monday. She is having a girl. Please keep her in your Prayers, for the surgery, the baby, healing and pain. Ladies you know better than I do what all is going to be going on, so special prayers from you Please! Her name is Mary and her baby will be named Terri. Mary actually works at IHOP in Conway and in about 6 weeks if you are in IHOP she should be there. She is a talker and very lovable. Can't miss her!!

Brother: Kirk Gray
My beloved brothers and sisters, I will be spending the night with my parents tonight and will be out tomorrow.

Book of Acts: To give an accurate account of the birth and growth of the Christian church
Acts 15:22-41

The Council’s Letter to Gentile Believers

22 Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to choose some of their own men and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas (called Barsabbas) and Silas, men who were leaders among the believers. 23 With them they sent the following letter:

The apostles and elders, your brothers,

To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia:

24 We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said. 25 So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul— 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing. 28 It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.

30 So the men were sent off and went down to Antioch, where they gathered the church together and delivered the letter. 31 The people read it and were glad for its encouraging message. 32 Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers. 33 After spending some time there, they were sent off by the believers with the blessing of peace to return to those who had sent them. [34]Some manuscripts include here But Silas decided to remain there. 35 But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.

Disagreement Between Paul and Barnabas

36 Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.” 37 Barnabas wanted to take John, also called Mark, with them, 38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work. 39 They had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus, 40 but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the believers to the grace of the Lord. 41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

Plan of Salvation: How to become a Child of God

Salvation through Our LORD, Jesus Christ

God, who is full of love, mercy and grace wanted to save you and me from our sins which is death. The penalty for our sins is total separation from God for eternity. God loves us so much, that He had a plan of salvation that would save not just you and me, but the entire world. There is only one road to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. God sent His only begotten Son to earth in form of God and man and He was sacrificed for us because Jesus took our sin debt for us, so that we could be set free from the bondage of sin and spend eternity with God. Jesus was beaten, cursed at, and a crown of thorns was placed on His head. He was nailed to a cross at a place called Calvary where he suffered, shed His blood and died for our sins, past, present and future sins for the entire world. That’s how much God loves you. It’s a free gift that God has given to us. All you have to do is accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and ask him to come into your heart and to forgive you of your sins. Jesus will work in your life and change your life that is full of joy, love and happiness. Yes, because we are saved does not mean that we’re perfect or that we won’t face troubles or illnesses in our lives. God uses certain situations to get our attention and to strengthen our faith and trust in Him. God has the best plan for our lives and trust me, it’s all worth it. To ask Jesus into your life, pray this simple prayer below and if you are sincere, then you will be saved and your name will be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and will never be erased. God will send a helper, the Holy Spirit to help guide you on your new journey to heaven. So come and join the family of God!

To become a child of God, pray this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. If you sincerely asked Jesus into heart and life, welcome to the family, God’s family my brother and sister in Christ. We are so glad you are part of the family.

In Christ’s Love,

Heaven’s Road
